Unlike any other Way of the Cross, the "Franciscan Way of the Cross: The Peace Prayer" is framed not only by the Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ, but by the Franciscan Peace Prayer.
Each Station of the Cross is accompanied by a brief reflection of Christ's journey to Calvary as well as a line of the Peace Prayer that directly correlates to that particular station. Each reflection brings together Jesus' ultimate sacrifice with the Franciscan reminder for peace and harmony in our daily lives, and especially during the Lenten Season.
