Notă biografică

Yedida K. Stillman (†), Ph.D. (1972) in Oriental Studies, University of Pennsylvania, was Professor of History and Near Eastern Languages at the University of Oklahoma. She has published extensively on the material culture, folklore and folklife of Jews and Muslims of the Middle East and North Africa and co-edited with George Zucker New Horizons in Sephardic Studies (State University of New York Press, 1993).
Norman A. Stillman, Ph.D. (1970) in Oriental Studies, University of Pennsylvania, is Schusterman/Josey Professor of Judaic History at the University of Oklahoma. He has publishedSephardi Religious Responses to Modernity (Harwood, 1995).
