Recenzii

Classicists will welcome this collection of essays from one of the greatest living Latinists. Among the previously unpublished papers, Woodman's essay on Augustus' famous inscription recording his achievements (Res Gestae) is sure to provoke further debate
It is a thought-provoking, heart-felt and frequently polemical conclusion to an outstanding collection of studies that deserve to be read (or reread) by scholars and students of Latin literature everywhere.
a desirable acquisition
