The book is titled From Rags to Riches in Christ simply because most of what you will read took place in the life of the author's experience in Christ. In this book, you will read about a man who was very poor but, with the help of Christ, Pastor Behanan plans to start his own charitable foundation so he can reach more people who were like he was. Carl is the pastor and founder of Grace Temple Apostolic Faith Church. How did he do that? It's in the book. My purpose in writing this book is to show anyone who reads this book that it is possible to live a happy and prosperous life here on earth with the help of Christ.

Notă biografică

At an early age, Carl worked on a number of small jobs trying to find his place in life. He found that his experience and level of education was very limited for the challenge he was facing in the workplace. Carl became a member of the building trades where he enrolled in school as a Prentiss, and he then begun a three-year Prentiss Program where he was awarded a certificate from the National Iron Workers Employers Training Program. In 1984, Carl enrolled at Temple Baptist Bible Institute where he earned an associate of ministerial studies degree. After a year out of school, Carl went back to college at International Apostolic College of Grace and Truth where he earned a bachelor's degree in Christian education and a master's degree in theology. Carl went back to school in 1984, part-time, and finished his education in 1992. In 1991, Carl was led by the Lord to open the doors to Grace Temple Church where he is the pastor.
