The Editors: Lars Magnusson is the chair of the Department of Economic History, Uppsala University, Sweden, and the National Institute of Working Life, Sweden.
Bo Stråth is Professor of Contemporary History in the Department of History and Civilisation/Robert Schuman Centre at the European University Institute, Florence. Both editors have published widely on political and economic processes in modern societies.
