Around the world, women have long been on the frontlines, protesting war and military forces. Marguerite R. Waller is Professor of English and Chair of the Department of Women's Studies at the University of California-Riverside. Jennifer Rycenga is an Associate Professor in the Comparative Religious Studies Program at San Jose State University.
