The prostate and kidney cancers are still under the five-year post-op surveillance protocol. The skin cancer is ongoing. About the Author:David Gast, now retired in London, Ontario, taught music at Ontario Bible College (now Tyndale University College and Seminary) in Toronto from 1968-1976. He served with HCJB Global as a missionary in Ecuador from 1976 to 1982, and then returned to Canada as a worship pastor until retiring in 2007. His first book, also published by Word Alive Press, is "Musing and Muttering Through Cancer" which focuses primarily on his lung cancer journey.
