The poems contained in the Gallery of Communication are the result of looking at and listening to the wide and wonderful world around me, and they reflect my world view. They may not reflect your own world view, but then they are not your poems any more than Monet's water lilies or Degas' dancers belong to either of us. We can only appreciate or disapprove of the water lilies or dancers for our own reasons. I do hope, however, that you will enjoy exploring my world and find connections to the poems you read.Verses at an Exhibition is a series of poetry anthologies of my own writings and special anthologies of the poetry of other writers. The series began in 2012 when I published a small electronic volume of selected poems I'd written in recent years. Since I enjoy both writing and editing, and because I am very interested in helping other writers obtain a platform for publishing their work, that first volume, There Will Be Wars, was followed by The View From Here, an anthology of poems from writers around the world, received through a special Call for Submissions I sent through some academic avenues of communication. There Will Be Wars has since been revised and updated, and the Gallery of Communication and the Gallery of Nature have followed in the wake of the previous volumes.
