Gary is given a diary by his grandmother, but boys don't keep diaries After some convincing, Gary decides to try keeping a diary (as long as he can do it his way). In Gary's Scary Diary, Gary writes funny entries about the things he finds scary in his daily life. The diary also provides Gary with a means of dealing with the very real fears he has about his best friend's impending move.
