Dr. Chase Madden practices family medicine in the small town of Taos, New Mexico. House calls frequently require skis, snow shoes or hiking boots. In an isolated mountain cabin, she finds her patient is infected with a life threatening bacteria that rarely lets its host come out alive. Did she get to him in time? Can she stop the infection without sacrificing too many of the patient's body parts?
