The richly illustrated volume of material designing and exhibiting, edited by the project directors Thomas Hensel, Martin Mäntele, and Steffen Siegel, is a compilation of key documents on the history of exhibitions in Ulm made accessible in an extensive glossary. Important figures in the HfG's history are presented with reference to their seminal thinking on theoretical issues and documents from their concrete planning work. The list includes Otl Aicher, Inge Aicher-Scholl, Max Bill, Herbert W. Kapitzki, Herbert Lindinger, Tomás Maldonado, Herbert Ohl, Hans (Nick) Roericht, Claude Schnaidt, and Claus Wille. A comprehensive documentation of the project exhibition HfG Ulm: exhibition fever completes this volume.
