Getting to Know Jesus What do Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John tell us? Christians, especially Catholics, have always shown interest in finding information about the Gospels based in biblical investigation and written in a simple language. Father Juan Alfaro provides the answers, setting his focus on the questions that are commonly brought up by the four Gospels. This is a book not only for the study of the Bible, it is also a support to help your spiritual growth and getting to know Jesus so his word becomes life in you. Father Alfaro is a scholar in the study of the New Testament and former professor at the University of the Incarnate Word and the Mexican American Cultural Center. He develops his ministry in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in San Antonio, Texas. He is also a member of the committee for the translation of the Bible for America. Liguori Publications offers a Leader's Guide to complement this book as a program to study the gospels. Please go to www.liguori.org and search for Getting to Know Jesus.
