Whether a child wants to know more about their cultural roots and ethnic origins, or they are simply curious about discovering a country rich with natural resources and rugged beauty, this African children’s book collection is here to help!


The book begins with a Factfile which includes interesting information about Ghana such as the size of the country and population; weather and currency. The reader will then go on to be introduced to the characters: Kobe, Adwoa and Kwame who will take them through the diverse landscapes from Lakes and Rivers, to Mountains and Waterfalls and visit well known landmarks like Black Star Gate in Accra. 


The reader will discover school life both in the towns and rural areas learning the musical instruments and sports they play.  They will learn basic phrases in Fanti and Asante Twi and dive into some favourite Ghanaian traditions such as gift giving and dressing in the national Kente print. 


The book ends leaving the reader dreaming about what they would like to be someday by sharing well known role models including, the Editor in Chief of British Vogue, Edward Enniful.
