When best gnome friends, Fred and Ted discover a precious prize, their only wish is to take it home. The only problem is that trouble keeps piling upon these gnomes. Soon Ted sets off to find some transport for their treasure. Meanwhile, whilst guarding their find, Fred realises that the creature he's come across is a human named Issy. Before long Fred admits that he's broken the gnome law by speaking to Issy. Yet, however hard the sensible Issy tries to help out Fred, the gnome just won't listen. No sooner has Issy departed than Fred's nabbed by his nemesis; a horrid gang of squirrels. Soon Fred's hanging from a tree and his prize is about to be pinched. Though, when Issy returns and saves the gnome, Fred is still fretful. This isn't helped when Ted comes back and in his eagerness he also breaks the gnome law. Soon, Issy is thrust into the weird world of gnomes and their loopy laws. When all seems to be beyond hope, will Issy find a way to save the gnomes from their fate? And will the gnomes finally get to take their treasure back home and perhaps also make a new friend
