God. Noun or Verb?

Autor Frank DeVries
en Limba Engleză Paperback
The scene: The World Council of Churches head office in Geneva. The year: AD 2061. The occasion: W.C.C. members will learn how via Imanto, the latest communication medium, God will respond to a number of grievances launched against him. Selected by the W.C.C. from hundreds of thousands of criticisms, from Korea to Sumatra and Baffin Island to New Zealand, twelve complainants have been chosen by an especially appointed committee. On a large video screen their stories, the criticisms of the twelve, scroll down for all to read, and are ultimately responded to by God.
As the tale unfolds the enigmatic Pieter Retief of South Africa and the imbibing Bishop Karamios of Russia provide fascinating sub-plots, while the varied life-styles of the selected men and women from around the world contribute to the story. After a surprising conclusion the reader is left with the book's message: God is an unceasingly caring divinity, constantly active in the world, who rejoices with people when they rejoice and weeps with them when they weep. Because he loves his children on earth with a boundless, immeasurable love.
