I think this is the best textbook that I have seen on the subject matter. It provides great information on sourcing options and considerations in making sourcing decisions.
The contents and organization match the course objectives, especially in terms of covering the overall structure of the textile and apparel industry, the several parts of the industry, and major factors (e.g., globalization, trade regulations) that affect the industry or particular parts of it, along with identifying major firms in different parts of the industry.
I use this book a lot - it really helps frame the topic for class discussions and projects.
