A funny and often disturbing look back at growing up during the 60's and 70's in a small upstate NY city that had left its best days behind. Religion, drugs, alcohol, and abuse are navigated through a near total lack of direction from a frustrated mother and an often hilariously irresponsible father. Through it all, the author bounces around his early years, confused and usually off the wall, always hoping for better things to come.
