Notă biografică
Amy George, born in Drushkovka, Russia shortly before World War II, is the wife of bestselling author Bob George, known for his nationwide broadcast "People to People" and his books Classic Christianity and Growing in Grace. Amy and Bob have two grown children and three grandchildren. Amy is a much-sought-after speaker and has shared her testimony at many national retreats, churches, and Christian organizations. Amy's desire is to communicate the faithfulness of God in the midst of any circumstance and affirm that in God's sight, everyone has significance. On a summer night, there is no place Al Janssen would rather be than at the ballpark. So far, he's attended games in 22 different stadiums. In between innings he is the Writer-in-Residence with Open Doors International and has authored and coauthored numerous books including The Marriage Masterpiece, Joy that Lasts, and Fast Break: Heroes of the NBA. He and his wife have three children and live in Colorado Springs, just two miles from AAA Sky Sox home games.

Amy's father was arrested and sentenced to a labor camp in Siberia. Then World War II dawned, and the Nazis invaded her Russian village. Amy and her mother were taken to a concentration camp and, upon war's end, made a daring escape. But all the while Amy thought of her father. Was he still alive? Would she ever see him again? A vivid reminder of God's grace in our lives.
