and
has

Wolves
fan
since
birth.
He
began
his
journalistic
career
with
the
Wellington
Journal
and
Shrewsbury
News
but
spent
the
rest
of
his
working
life
with
the
Express
&
Star,
the
Black
Country's
evening
newspaper.
During
his
many
years
on
the
Sports
Desk
of
the
Express
&
Star,
Steve
acquired
a
deep
knowledge
of
Wolves'
history.
Before
he
retired
in
2003,
he
had
been
Sports
Editor
for
eight
years.
