Notă biografică
Uwe Haupenthal, geb. 1956, studierte Kunstgeschichte in Frankfurt/M. und Bonn. 1986 Promotion über das plastische Werk des Karlsruher Bildhauers Wilhelm Loth. Seit 1991 leitet er das Richard-Haizmann-Museum in Niebüll. Von 1996 bis 2011 war er zugleich auch Kustos für wechselnde Ausstellungen beim Museumsverbund Nordfriesland in Husum, seit 2011 ist er dessen Geschäftsführer. Zahlreiche Aufsätze zur Kunst des 19. und 20. Jahrhunderts.
