The GTCCP was initiated to limit the amount of public funds held outside the U.S. Treasury and reduce the amount of money the Government needs to borrow to fund travel advances. The GTCC provides a means of funding official travel. The purpose of this book is to publish guidance for GTCCP management and execution and for Cardholder participation and responsibilities in accordance with the reference.
