Graphene Oxide in Environmental Remediation Process: SpringerBriefs in Applied Sciences and Technology

Autor Flavio Pendolino, Nerina Armata
en Limba Engleză Paperback – 5 iul 2017
This book discusses the remediation process using graphene oxide as removal agent from a chemical point of view. State of the art, properties of graphene oxide and its preparation methods are reported in the introduction. Environmental issues and regulations are presented in view of applying graphene oxide dispersion to the purification of aqueous medium, especially for industrial wastewater. The remediation process, for removal organic molecules, inorganic/metallic ions, covers the last part of the book. Future prospective for graphene oxide in the environmental remediation approach is commented.

Notă biografică

Flavio Pendolino received his Ph.D. in Physics and Nanotechnology from Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM), Spain. He is an auditor of quality and environmental management systems in the industrial sector. His major interest is in nanotechnology applied to environmental issues, besides synthesis of graphene oxide and its modification for remediation processes.

Nerina Armata received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Palermo, Italy.  She is a research fellow at the same University and her research interests are on modeling and computational chemistry techniques to the study of nanostructures and molecules/polymers with environment impact.
