Garig is asked to take over a dragon, who turns out to be Dragonus' brother. And Garig wins another dragon from a witch, Lady Lillith, who is working for his long time family enemy, Lord Odius Von De Stoop. This rises Garig's position to Lord, being the winner of a fight of magic. Progressing with his magic under the teaching of Healer McGarkin, Garig learns of his destiny that is actually already laid out before him. Healer McGarkin is not only a powerful mage, but also the Head Mage of the Guardian of the Dragons family, as well as Head Mage of the Council of Mages. Garig is to inherit these positions and responsibilities. He left home as a young teen, but comes back as a young mage, now Lord Garigard Kirton.
