Notă biografică
The author's previous book, "Guiding Your Teen with Special Needs through the Transition from School to Adult Life," was published by Jessica Kingsley, 2008. Her essay, "The View had me Clapping All the Way" was published in Long Island Newsday, on February 7, 2021. She discovered Stella through her volunteer work as a docent at Horton Point Lighthouse. Researching primary sources provided by Southold Historical Museum, Suffolk Historical Society, Oysterpond Historical Society, Southold, and Mattituck Libraries provided the information to curate a narrated PowerPoint on Stella Prince's life available at www.SoutholdHistorical.org. She also welcomes opportunities to speak on Stella and the book both on zoom and in-person.
