The basic structural unit of proteins is the Amino acid. One of the important component of life is protein. There are more than 30000 genes and even more types of proteins in human beings. Like 26 alphabets make many words and sentences similarly 20 amino acids make many types of proteins for cell and tissues. All beautiful colors are due to different types of proteins i.e melanin, hemoglobin, chlorophyll etc. proteins and thereby amino acids are building blocks of all organisms.
