RomanticStudies is one of the most vibrant areas in British literary and cultural theory, and the concept of Romanticism has been thoroughly investigated and reshaped in the past decades. This handbook will provide an introduction to the fundamental systematic questions as well as an overview of the different Romantic genres. In a number of close readings, it will also introduce key literary texts in the light of recent theoretical discussions.
