Dr. Lourdes C. Arevalo Galarza's work focuses on postharvest physiology and technology of horticultural products (fruits, vegetables and ornamentals) from tropical and subtropical origin. It also includes studies on harvest maturity, storage conditions, fruit diseases and quarantine treatments.
