April Manning is a struggling ebony artist, but she knows that there are no shortcuts when it comes to breaking in a new star. She has no choice, but to stay cloistered in her office, until that one fateful day that her boss gives her that infamous pink slip. She has a friend that will introduce her to a new line of work that will allow her to work with her hands. She has every desire to find a way to make her passion work for her, but it's not an easy task to complete. It just seems that she is going around in circles and that her main problem is a need for money to pay for the bills that won't pay for themselves.
