Notă biografică

Dr. Cesar G. Queyquep earned his aeronautical engineering degree (top 10) from Feati University, his MS degree in mathematics education from Purdue University (as an NSF scholar), and his doctorate degree in education, summa cum laude, from Madison University. He was valedictorian of his graduating class at the Urdaneta Provincial East High School, now the Urdaneta City National High School.

Dr. Queyquep served on the faculty of the Department of Engineering of Purdue University Calumet (Northwest Indiana campus) as professor of Computer-Aided Design, Engineering Drawing, and Engineering Design. While connected with Purdue, he was also on the faculty of the Department of Mathematics of nearby Bishop Noll Institute.

At Bishop Noll Institute, he taught honors geometry, algebra 1 and algebra 2, industrial design, physics, and mechanical drawing. He was Faculty Advisor for the Math Club for three decades, Director of the Annual Mathematics Tournament for the Diocese of Gary and neighboring Chicago- land schools. He was also the Faculty Sponsor and Coach of the Bishop Noll JETS Academic Team which won three successive First Place Trophies in the Annual JETS Academic Tournaments at Valparaiso University and Purdue University Calumet. He was inducted into the Bishop Noll Institute Hall of Honor for outstanding services in the field of education to the Bishop Noll Community.

He authored two books published by the Kendall-Hunt Publishing Co., namely: "The Essential AutoCAD" (for engineering students in computer-aided design) and "The Essential Engineering Graphics Concepts" for engineering students. Both books were used at Purdue University Calumet, Ivy Tech State College Northwest, Bishop Noll Institute, and other area schools. He was also a contributing author (he wrote the Research Project Report on "The Mathematics of Flight" ), in the Student Merit Awards book published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in Reston, Virginia.

He taught college physics as a graduate teaching assistant at Western Michigan University. At Feati University, his alma mater, he was assistant professor teaching aerodynamics, engineering physics, and theory of flight to aircraft maintenance, aeronautical engineering, and flying students, and later became Head of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering.
