Harker: The Book of Solomon

Autor Roger Gibson Ilustrat de Vince Danks
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 27 aug 2012
When a series of gruesome cult killings take place near the British Museum, DCI Harker and his assistant DS Critchley are called to London to solve the case.

Middle class satanists, dusty old bookshops, a labyrinth under the museum, a frantic car chase and wry, cutting humor all combine in this love letter to classic British detective television series.

Written by newcomer Roger Gibson and illustrated by the adept Vince Danks, Harker takes police investigation to a true heart of darkness.

Notă biografică

Roger Gibson began drawing comic strips for X-AP in the mid 1980s, forming his own APA -  Early Spring - soon afterwards. After deciding to retire from comics, Roger turned to writing - producing a novel adaptation of Gravestown (an earlier comic) and a science fiction thriller called Loop.

Vince Danks' early career began with Redfox by Chris Bell and Fox for Valkyrie Press. From there, he worked on Dr Who Monthly, the Red Dwarf Smegazine and for Marvel UK. In 1997 he set up Ariel Press to publish Sapphire, a paranormal espionage story.

Having previously worked together on Sapphire, Harker was born of Vince & Roger's mutual desire to create a comic that felt 'like a good Saturday night's TV'.
