Recenzii

'The book is written in rhyming couplets by Lynne Rickards and is delightfully illustrated by Gabby Grant.' -- Lothian Life 'The book is melodic to read, with lively, colourful pictures. Clearly the author loves the region and has bought the wilds of Scotland to life in the book, aided beautifully by the pictures. It is a happy book with a strong humorous vein. This would be a good 'read aloud' book, but also a moderate reader could enjoy learning the words and phrases helped by the rhythmic text.' -- Armadillo Magazine 'The animals are charming and the pathos of the baby seal gives quite an emotional tug. A light airy touch with colour allows the sense of space and fresh sea breezes through.' -- Books for Keeps
