"I know, declare, and proclaim that only a son of Shiva, not born of man's pleasure with a woman will have the power to destroy me " Thus spake the Demon Tarakasuran in defiance of his enemies, the Lotus Land, and especially the hated God-Lord Shiva. Seven thousand years ago in ancient Mesopotamia a young man was constructed to fulfill this prophecy. Through the scientific arts of the out-world Talantians- at the behest of Lord Shiva- the god's genes were mingled with those of the predator eagle and implanted in the reluctant host-womb of a healer woman. Thus could the first prophecy be fulfilled- even as the Dragon Guardian of the Illuminatia Prophecies was also waiting for the appearance of the Eagle. And so Mukanda was born. Known in childhood as nine-four-three- trained as a slave gladiator for the entertainment of the masters-he grew up unaware of his real identity or intended destiny. This is the story of a young man's journey to find himself, to discover the true meaning of courage and the nature of sacrifice. It is also the story of the Talantian girl, Keena No'Ray Sheathnan, and her slowly dawning horror at the realization that she was in love with a non-human.
