This unit is dedicated to health and nutrition. Children will be introduced to health in four weekly segments: "Doctor and Dentist Visits," "Healthy Habits," "Nutrition," and "The Five Senses." Each week features a variety of activities for art, math, science, Circle Time, dramatic play, and other areas. This fun unit provides step-by-step activities for all learning centers. Sample activities include a teeth stain activity, hand-printing germs, fitness activity games, and planting fruits. Each segment includes a complete planning web and classroom goals. All activities are described in great detail and have been tested in various preschool classrooms.
