Hedgie the daydreaming hedgehog, imagines an enchanting world beyond his hedgerow. Inspired by adventurous stories read to him at bedtime, one night he wanders out into the darkness alone. He's looking for places and characters from his storybooks but soon discovers the world is very different from what he expected.
