Notă biografică
Pauline Rose is an art historian and senior lecturer at the Arts University Bournemouth. She studied history of art at the University of Southampton (Winchester School of Art) and this book draws on her extensive research into Henry Moore's career in the United States. She is the author of Henry Moore in Dallas (Sculpture Journal, 2008); Photography and Sculpture: Portraying Henry Moore (The Artist's Portrait and Self-Portrait, 2010, Moscow Academy of Fine Arts) and Henry Moore in America: The Role of Journalism and Photography (J. Paul Getty Museum, 2011). She has worked with the Tate Gallery on their online research project 'Henry Moore: Sculptural Process and Public Identity' by contributing two essays on Moore's career in the United States. She has published on St Ives painter Peter Lanyon and is currently preparing a book on British Women Sculptors 1900-1951.
