Her Ladyship's Guide to Running One's Own Home: A Liquid History: National Trust History & Heritage

Autor Caroline Taggart
en Limba Engleză Hardback – 7 sep 2016
Ever wondered how to fit the ironing into an already overcrowded schedule? Or how to deal with houseguests whose political opinions you abhor? In this charming book, "Her Ladyship" provides the answers to these and other pressing domestic questions In her trademark lightly humorous but always elegant style, she addresses such issues as day-to-day housekeeping and routines, managing "staff" (cleaners, au pairs, gardeners) effectively and graciously, how to avoid committing social faux pas, and how to get the kids to help with the housework. Even if you live in a small apartment--rather than a large country estate--you'll find just the gentle guidance you need to run your home properly.
