Notă biografică

Nick Shigo has a passion for bringing the love of the outdoors to others. From his first experiences in the outdoors with Boy Scout Troop 55, he learned to thrive on the thrill and achievement that comes with adventuring out into the unknown and sharing that experience with others, especially kids and families. He has spent more than five years working with summer camp and outdoor education groups to instill a sense of curiosity and exploration within the natural world. Shigo is an experienced skier and hiker, recently completing the 2,200 mile long Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. He wrote about his experience on the trail for Outside Magazine. Through the AT, Shigo experienced some of the highest peaks in the Northeast and learned to find the pockets of wilderness nearer to home than most would think.
