Hilda Bees Special Home is a story in which a bee faces many challenges. . Although Hilda Bee attends school and always tries her very best, she just cant seem to do things like the rest. Although encouragement and support will always be there for Hilda Bee, her limitations must be realized. It will take the special love and incredible insight of her teacher to help her students realize that they must accept Hilda Bee just as she is. The story itself uses the time-tested, prevailing technique of rhythm and rhyme, a technique that is widely used by both parents and educators alike to help foster phonological awareness.
