A comic masterpiece about a classic love triangle: a man, a woman and a chimpanzee. Mr Fatigay is an Edwardian schoolmaster posted to the Congo, and his sole companion is Emily; a chimpanzee who falls for him. On returning to London he brings Emily as a gift to his fiance.
