Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site benefits from the foresight of the men and women who worked there during World War II. Both Tuskegee staff and Air Corps personnel knew that they were making history, and recorded that history with photographs and an extensive written record. Military and Tuskegee Institute photographs were invaluable in the preparation of this report, especially those included in the publicity pamphlet entitled "Pilot Training School, Tuskegee Institute."
