The book is a 30 page pamphlet telling the history of Encino, New Mexico a railroad town established along the Belen Cutoff Route shortly after the turn of the twentieth century. From its founding until the 1950s, Encino was a bustling farming, ranching and railroad community on the edge of the New Mexico's eastern plains.
