The 4th Seaforth Highlanders was one of the Territorial battalions that was in action before the end of 1914. It fought with the 7th (Meerut) Division, the 15th Scottish and from January 1916 with the 51st Highland. Sixty officers and 1110 other ranks died, one VC was awarded. A fine history.
