Notă biografică
Sophie Schmid hat Kommunikations-Design an der FH München und Freie Malere/ Grafik an der AdBK München studiert. Sie ist seit 1995 als freischaffende Illustratorin und Autorin tätig. Humorvolle Szenen und Charaktere sowie eine erstaunliche Technikvielfalt zeichnen ihre Arbeiten aus. Seit 1998 unterrichtet sie durchgängig an verschiedenen Instituten. Momentan hat sie den Lehrauftrag für Illustration an der Hofschule in Pforzheim. Nebenher stellt sie regelmäßig Kunst aus.
