The emergence ofcomputer-aided fringe analysis and phase-shifting techniqueshave simplified considerably the quantative real-timemeasurements of object shapes and deformations. The last twochapters provide a reasonably detailedoverview offull-field holographic methods for the measurement ofshapes, displacements, dervatives, difference displacementsand vibrations.
