Returning from the college radio station one April evening, senior Rachel Yards lands in the eerie basement of Knights Hall, where she interrupts the sacrifice of a young boy by five masked monks. Her near escape drives her to follow --with the help of three close friends--a trail of hidden documents and secret, deadly societies. After a second victim disappears. they discover a network of tunnels. . .and a torture chamber. Convinced a secret Knights of the Temple society is operating in the school, they try to recover the documents. Attempts on Rachel's life grow more daring--and her kidnapping leads to a race against time in which seconds mean the difference between life and death. Will she survive?
