How Rocko's Escape Turned to an Adventure
Autor Tanna Reeseen Limba Engleză Paperback – 27 dec 2017
Rocko was a lonely little orphan. He didn't have anyone to love him. He felt so lonely, even with all the other children around him. One day, he found out that the orphans were going on an outing, for the weekend, to the Jacks Fork River. The more he thought about it, the more excited he got. A plan began to form in his mind. It was a plan to sneak away when he got to the river and live there all by himself. When he got to the river, he was amazed. It looked like a little piece of heaven. There was the river rolling along with the bluff on the other side. A beach ran down to the river with beautiful trees everywhere. Oh yes, now he was determined that this would be his home. Later on, as the kids went for a walk, he walked along behind everyone else, searching for somewhere to hide. Finally, Rocko saw a cute little pug chasing a rabbit. They ran under a tree, through the roots, and disappeared. He didn't know where they went, but he would come back later and see what he could find. Surely enough, when he went back later, he found a hole under the roots that he could crawl into. So he had his hiding place. In the middle of the night, as quietly as possible, he gathered his belongings and began sneaking down the trail to what turned out to be a big cave. What did he find back in the cave? That adorable little pug was lost in there. They were so happy to see each other. They were instantly best friends. Now, their adventure begins. They have to learn how to survive on their own. Inside their cave, way up high, was a window that they could look out over their river and see everything that was happening. Wow, they were going to have so much fun. You won't want to put this book down once you start reading it.
