All the elves grew to love Santa; they looked forward to his walks through the woods every day. One day Santa came through the woods as usual, but he wasn't singing; he could barely walk, and soon he fell to the ground near Shaddai. The elves gasped for breath, not sure what was wrong with their favorite human, Santa.
