Peter Stuhlmacher is Professor Emeritus of the University of Tubingen, Germany. He is the author of many books, including 'The Gospel and the Gospels' and 'Paul's Letter to the Romans: A Commentary'. Roy Harrisville, the translator and author of the introduction, is Professor Emeritus of New Testament at Luther Seminary, St. Paul, Minnesota.
