Notă biografică
Ms. Cilento is an award-winning writer, noted publisher, life-coach, and communications expert. Her career in publishing spans nearly 30 years. She has extensive experience in print and digital media, writing, editing, coaching, as well as leading and managing projects and creative teams. Gia first joined the publishing world as a part-time typesetter in the mid-80's and quickly fell in love. She'd always loved books, reading (she spent hours in libraries), and writing and the publishing industry brought a welcome outlet for her passions. Moving through various positions at the newspaper, she soon became the Production Director and computerized the production of the small local entertainment paper, one of the first to do so in the state of Florida and found a love for technology along the way. When she first learned of the internet in the mid-90's, the full potential it offered hadn't yet been explored. Throughout the ensuing years, she researched ways to combine her love of publishing with internet technology and the burgeoning online publishing industry. Today, she runs a growing publishing company, Mad Hatter Publishing, Inc., partnering with talented and passionate writers and also writes her own books that aim to help people create a fantastic life. With a passion for words and creating, she spends her spare time (when she stumbles upon it) staring at blank pages, imagining the joy of filling them up with her thoughts and imaginings. Gia lives in Southeast Michigan with her wife, two dogs, and a cat.
