How Trump Won

Autor Susan Shelley
en Limba Engleză Paperback

In the deepest blue of Los Angeles there is a conservative columnist who watched the 2016 presidential campaign and saw...

Donald Trump doing Harry Houdini's Metamorphosis trick: "The trunk is unlocked to reveal Hillary Clinton tied to wealth, privilege, the Iraq war and Wall Street."

Hillary Clinton's secrecy problem: "This pattern has been repeated so many times, it could be sold as wallpaper."

Over "a year and change," Susan Shelley's columns for the Southern California News Group revealed Trump's brilliant debate strategy; how Chelsea Clinton's investigation of her parents' foundation turned into Wikileaks' most damaging revelation; how two professors and a filmmaker predicted the election; and the hilarious Russian "plot" to hack our democracy with a mixed-up sandwich order.

This insightful and entertaining ride through the 2016 presidential campaign has it all -- the emails, the debates, the women, the Russians, the FBI -- capturing the moments in time that tell the story of how Trump became the 45th president of the United States, and equally compelling, how Clinton didn't.
